Our Difference

At Resilience Wealth Advisors we want to be there for our clients and community not just when the ride is smooth, but when a heightened level of resilience is necessary. 

Resilience Wealth Advisors came about during the worst worldwide pandemic in a century. During this time, we were all very challenged in new and unique ways…. it was a sense of isolation, having to periodically quarantine, worrying about making people uncomfortable by getting too close in public spaces, guiding children doing their schooling from home, and watching people in the community suffer; sometimes becoming infected with and sometimes dying prematurely from Covid-19, with all the emotional and financial fall-out. Getting through that time made us reflect on what resilience meant and how we could better support people during difficult circumstances.
 
Partners have over 70 years of combined experience and remarkable bios. But, when you read the bio of each partner, one thing that may not be immediately apparent is that each partner has had to practice great resilience in his/her family. One partner has lost a spouse to breast cancer and became a single parent to young children. One partner has a special needs child that has required an enormous amount of time, patience, and sacrifice. Another partner currently has a spouse who is suffering from terminal breast cancer. Due to our experiences, we feel that we are in a unique position to help people have a heightened level of resilience.
Life can be unpredictable and unfair, necessitating a high level of family resilience at any time. At those times, our lives can be turned upside down as important decisions have to be made. We need people and resources we can trust.
At Resilience Wealth Advisors we want to be there for our clients and community not just when the ride is smooth, but when a heightened level of resilience is necessary. As a result, in addition to empowering our clients with greater family, financial, and social capital, we have a social mission to help enable social support communities for those suffering from Stage 4 breast cancer and for families with a special needs child by providing personal, financial and organizational support.
 
We are the resource needed to increase resilience by:
  • Taking something and making it better
  • Meeting what we cannot control with courage
  • Expansion and amplification
  • Having a growth mindset
  • Finding a way
 
We believe in challenging the status quo of the Wealth Management industry and thinking differently:
  • The family is the foundation of society and that what we do needs to speak directly to strengthening the family foundation
  • Patriarchs and matriarchs who create wealth for their families have unique challenges in disseminating that wealth consistent with their values and want to avoid leaving difficult financial circumstances for heirs, which could have been prevented by planning
  • Wealth is not passed successfully between generations by accident. What worked in one generation will not necessarily work in the next and what worked for another family will not necessarily work for yours.
  • Proactive planning and financial education are at the core of being good stewards of wealth, ensuring money is treated appropriately by future generations, and the family legacy is projected into the future through up and down global markets, changing tax regimes, and fluid family dynamics
  • The way we challenge the status quo is by understanding the unique needs of affluent families and empowering them by acting as a family wealth advocate and utilizing a clear and consistent process with coordination among all advisors, which yields heightened family peace around money.
